Falling Leaves Tag. Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board Chipboard - Little Wally

Sharing a tag I created featuring Reneabouquets new Printed Chipboard piece "Little Wally"   I love how Wally is looking up as he's carrying a basket of leaves. I imagine he's thinking....
"They just keep falling!"

Isn't Wally Gorgeous!!   Renea knows how to capture a persons imagination with her beautifully designed pieces.
I just want to give him a hug for working so hard.
I layered solid colored cardstock as a background.  Off white and dark brown colors.  Embossed the top piece of cardstock with an embossing folder, and then rubbed a sponge dauber of  Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink lightly over the top to bring out the details of the embossing.
I die cut the leaves from Prima's Forest Leaves die in three colors, and edged them with ink.  Wrapped twine around the tag.   Popped Wally up on some chipboard.  And glued on some Chunky glitter, micro beads, and some big beads from my stash.

Reneabouquets Shabby Chic Christmas Tree by DT Tina Goodwin

Good morning! My Aunt recently gave me some old Christmas decorations. In them was a plastic cone. Immediately, I thought of a Christmas tree. What could be better than a Christmas tree?  A Shabby Chic Christmas tree of course!

And the perfect place to get all of your Shabby Christmas tree decorations? Reneabouquets! The Beautiful Bits - Shabby Hearts and Beautiful Bits - Stars make perfect ornaments.

I used four of the beautiful laces that Reneabouquets carries and layered the plastic cone with them.

I had to add a couple Shabby Pink Roses Glitter Glass Butterflies and Sweet Pea Glitter Glass Butterflies butterflies too. They were the perfect finishing touch.

My six year old told me that my tree didn't look like a Christmas tree at all. "Maybe a Valentine's tree" she said.

Either way, I love how it turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a craftastic day!
Hugs,
        Tina

Shabby Chic DIY Altered Home Decor Keepsake

I wanted to create a beautiful gift for a friend, (whose daughter had recently married this last summer) and the minute she popped a few pictures onto social media, I saw them, had to have them for my project and saved them quickly to my album. I actually wasn't sure which photo I was going to use for this project until I received a new Beautiful Board release from Reneabouquets...the "Tree Frame" (link will be below). It went perfectly with this photo of the bride, so picturesque, in front of the silhouetted tree. I used a Dollar Tree Wood Home D├ęcor piece, removed the "yarn art" and painted it with Prima Heavy Black Gesso. I tried to stay within the feel of my friend's home colors of greys, stones, and natural shades, recolored the photo just a bit to give it a more timeless feel, and added beautiful pieces (including the exquisite Beautiful Board product) from Reneabouquets to complete the overall enchanting, textured quality for a treasured keepsake that can be displayed in her home for years to come.

Below the pictures will be a link to my YouTube video for a complete start to finish process of how I made this project! I will also add the links to the products used from Reneabouquets.com.

Rose Garden Fairy Tea Cup By Renea Harrison

I love to create miniatures!! They remind me so much of my childhood and creating miniatures with my Pawpaw. To me there is nothing more magical than creating a "little world" of my own.

I started with a Reneabouquets
that I put together, and then stuffed with some Teddy Bear Fluff, so that I could start my layering.
Beautiful Board Medium Brick Element, emptied out almost all of the bricks to leave a skeleton, and made the background wall for my fairies garden. I added sand texture and some
Rose Gold Microbeads to the bricks that I left in place. I added some Pink Sorbet Mini Roses
to simulate roses growing up the wall.
Next, I tucked in a Watercolor Rose Garden Fairy Double Side Printed Die Cut, and added some glitter paint accents to the front side.

I used flowers from the following flower sets to add to the garden theme:
Spring Green Roses & Leaves
I then dangled a little Fairy Trinket over the edge of the cup.

I used Bridesmaid Lace  on the Saucer, and then added some flowers from the following sets:

I added the sweet little moon Fairy Trinket to the bottom flowers, and popped a little piece of bling onto the top.

These little tea cups are so much fun to make!! I love that you end up with a sweet little miniature that you can view from all sides and use to decorate your home, child's room, party or wedding shower with!!

Thank you for stopping by and indulging my love for all things miniature!! I hope that you get to create something that reminds you of the ones you love when you get some crafting time. Hugs ~Renea
