For The Reneabouquets Design Team, Every Moment Is A New Beginning

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

Remember, Renabouquets is closed for the summer from June 11th to August 31st.

I made three ATCs that open up like regular greeting cards. They're 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, and made out of watercolor paper. I plan on giving these to friends and family.

The dragonflies by Reneabouquets are amazing!

I arranged the Beautiful Board frames and other items around the cards.I painted the Beautiful Board Tiny Butterfly Flourish Frame Laser Cut Chipboard with a mix of gold mica powder and water. I brushed on Shimmer Paints.I rubbed on gold,and pearl mica powder in different areas. I added a little white gesso,pale pink paint, and white ink on top of the green Shimmerz Paint to create some negative space. I put watercolor pencil around the edges, along with gold mica powder.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,gold leaf,tulle, feathers, glass glitter, crystals,glass beads,and bling both from Reneabouquets, and from my stash.I used glossy accents and double sided foam tape to adhere items to the page.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, Start Each Day With A Grateful Heart

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page,I put a layer of clear gesso on Prima paper. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula.

I taped on a layer of watercolor paper underneath the image to help it to lie flat. I added a layer of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor paper mat. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard,ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso.I sprinkled Ultra Thick Embossing Powder onto the wet gesso and melted it with a heat gun.

I arranged the Beautiful Board,and other items around the page. I brushed on Shimmer Paints and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. Anytime I glued items on I sprinkled on Gawdie Girl Diamond Shard German Glitter Glass on top of the glue. I rubbed on gold,and pearl mica powder in different areas.I used some blue wax paste around the page.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,gold leaf, sisal, feathers,a shell, glass glitter, crystals,glass beads,lace, metal and bling both from Reneabouquets, and from my stash.I used glossy accents and double sided foam tape to adhere items to the page.

Alice in Wonderland Box by Design Team Artist Diane McClosky

This project was inspired by Reneabouquets Design Team Artist Kathy Clement. I decided to make it my own and create the box with two small albums as well as a bookmark. I used Mintays Elodie Collection and lots of goodies from Reneabouquets Alice in Wonderland Collection.

"Happy Bee-Day" Wooden House/Box

“Happy Bee-Day” Wooden House/Box

The base of this project is a Dollar Tree wooden house/box which I painted and covered with patterned paper and added some wooden feet. The main feature of this house/box is a Printed Beautiful Board Tiny Sugar Bee Hive which is topped with a Tiny Treasures Sugar Bee and Beautiful Board Hexagon Elements Laser Cut Chipboard. The roof of the house features a Beautiful Board Small Sugar Bee Corner Laser Cut Chipboard and a Reneabouquets Queen Bee Clock Charm Trinket. The box was filled with floral foam that was covered with moss and some mulberry flowers, mushrooms and a Butterfly Kisses Fairy Dust Gold Single Side Printed Butterfly. Overlooking the scene is a Printed Beautiful Board Small Sweet Garden Butterfly Fairy With Glass Wings.

"Cherish" Altered Wooden Tray

“Cherish” Altered Wooden Tray

The base of this project is a wooden tray that I altered for a Mother's Day gift using Mintay's "Rustic Charms" paper collection along with a numb er of resin pieces and Reneabouquets pieces.

I first painted the tray a sage green color to match the paper collection. The inside of each box was covered in patterned paper and lace trim and pearls were added. Resin pieces were added to the top corners and lace added to the bottom. Pearls were added to the sides of the tray. A spray of mulberry flowers was added to the top of the tray and dusted with some Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky Glitter Glass and topped with a Tiny Treasures True Love Story Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly. Some lace and ribbon was used as a hanger.

Each section of the tray had a special scene with lots of dimensional elements. The first section features Printed Beautiful Board Small Elizabeth in Paris Laser Cut Chipboard, the second Beautiful Board White Rabbit Itty Bitty Chipboard set, the third Beautiful Board Fairy-est Of Them All Itty Bitty Chipboard and some shaker globes, and the fourth a Sweet Garden Butterfly Fairy Premium Paper Die Cut. Die cuts from the collection were used as well as some wooden pieces that were used as flower pots and some metal pieces such as a fan, key, scissors and bobbin.
