Hello Fellow Reneabouquets
Fans! I am so thrilled and honored to be a Guest Designer for Reneabouquets for
the month of June! It is a dream come true! I’m here to share my first project,
a Garden Party Pocket Letter
featuring a multitude of unique and beautiful Reneabouquets products! From
Renea’s store I chose Blue Fern Studios Garden Life paper in Morning Dew to
design my pocket letter. What gorgeous paper and fabulous quality it is! Pocket
letters have quickly become a big hit in the scrapbooking field. They were
created by Janette Lane around 2014, who created them as a new
way to send letters to your new or existing penpals. Basically, you fill all the pockets
of a 9-pocket Trading Card Protector and send the whole page to someone who
wants to swap with you. I usually type a letter about myself and then fold it
up and insert it behind Pocket 5.
Before beginning to add
the lovely embellishments I ran each pocket of paper through my Big Shot using
my Darice Vine Pattern Embossing Folder and then sanded the raised edges a bit.
Then on to the fun part…
I used the following
products from Reneabouquets:
