Country Christmas Wood Slice Home Decor

  I've been wanting to create a project on a wood slice for awhile, and since I have been working on Country and Rustic style projects for upcoming Christmas Craft Bazaars, it was an easy transition to design a personalized home décor piece! I love altering items and adding a personal photo, especially for holiday décor, because once the holidays are over, all those items get packed away until you bring them out again the next year. It's a special moment when you unwrap a piece and see a memory staring up at you...allowing you to take a step back into time, enjoy the photo, and also the specialized décor you created for the season.  It's very fulfilling.
   It was very easy to decorate this wood slice (that I purchased at Walmart...it was the lowest price I've seen without a coupon) with beautiful product from Reneabouquets! I was able to use some Beautiful Board and Printed Beautiful Board Christmas products, some exquisite laces, mulberry flowers and handcrafted (by Renea) Tiny Treasures Butterflies.
