As we are all practicing "stay at home" these days and I have my 6 year old grandson here we decided to have a craft day...
We had these little wooden birdhouses to paint and that's what we did! When we were all done with the painting, I thought why not take it up a notch and add some amazing Reneabouquets flowers! Here is the result!
The birdhouse was first painted with Folk Art® Coastal Texture Paint in Sea Mist. Next I added some Plaid® Antique Wax and wiped it with a damp cloth. I used a script stamp with brown ink and clear embossed that. Finally I dry brushed with white acrylic paint. For the roof of the house, I painted cream, applied the wax and let it dry. Then I used a wood grain stamp and brown ink to create the wood look. I clear embossed that and dry brushed with white acrylic paint as well.
To embellish the front I used some Reneabouquets Beautiful Board vines. I applied embossing ink and green embossing powder before adhering to the house.
Finally those gorgeous Reneabouquets flowers and leaves in dark brown and Honey!
