Reneabouquets 4D Purses and Tags

“You Are A Diamond”

and

“Divalicious”

The bases for these purses are Reneabouquets 4D purse. For the “You Are A Diamond” purse I used Mintay’s “Day by Day” paper collection and for “Divalicious” I used Mintay’s “Glam Rock” paper collection.

The first thing I did for each purse was to trace the front and back piece onto my patterned papers and also trace the side pieces. I also traced the front and back piece another time to line the inside front and back of the purse. I used a total of four different papers for the front, back, side and inside of the purse.

Once I had all my pieces cut I painted my handles and frames. When dry I assembled the purse and began adhering all my patterned paper pieces trimming as necessary for a perfect fit. Then the decorating began!

On the front of the “You Are A Diamond” purse I used Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board Penelope in Paris Laser Cut Chipboard and put her in front of a Beautiful Board Eiffel Tower Laser Cut Chipboard and added a Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Scroll Heart to make it look like she was enjoying a day of shopping in Paris. In place of the buckle that came with the purse I wanted some added bling so I used the White Pearl and Rhinestone Button as the buckle. Some Mini Mulberry Paper Roses in peach, white and black were added and covered with Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. I added a stick pin to the flowers with a little crown and a Tiny Treasures Polka Dots & Bling Butterfly. The front, back and sides had a band of lace along the bottom with pearls and some Reneabouquets White Candy was also added to the lace. A piece from the Beautiful Board April in Paris Adornment Pattern set and a small rose and some White Candy finished off the handle on the purse.

On the back I added a Beautiful Board Butterfly Flourish Frame and printed off some words to match the theme of the purse. Another butterfly, brooch, key and floral sprays finished the back.

On one side of the purse I added a cabochon and hung two chains which held some bling charms. Added a bit of ribbon and lace and small rose to the cabochon.

The inside was covered on the front and back sides and held two coordinating tags using 3”x4” images from the paper collection. On the “Shine Brightly” tag I used a Vintage Fairy Ballerina Premium Paper Die Cut, Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Shabby Heart, Butterfly Kisses Mid Winter’s Dream Butterfly, lace, and Tessie’s Garland Lace. Black and white gingham ribbon topped the tag. The “Note to Self” tag had some Butterly Kisses Delicate Beauty Butterflies and lace to finish off the tag. Both tags had some Mini Garden Bouquet Lace and Mini Mulberry Paper Roses in peach, white and black.

On the “Divalicious” front I added a Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board Sugar Plum Ballerina Laser Cut Chipboard image. The colors in her dress matched the papers perfectly and it looks like she is getting ready for a rock concert! I added a Butterfly Kisses Cherry Blossom Butterfly, key tied with gingham ribbon and topped with a Mini Mulberry Flower, and for the buckle I used a Pink Pearl and Rhinestone Button for more bling. I ran some black rhinestone trim all around the bottom and top of the purse. The handle had some White Candy, Mini Mulberry Roses and leaves, and a Tiny Treasures Sweet As Candy Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly sits atop the handle.

The back of the purse has a “Divalicious” chipboard piece mounted on top of a Beautiful Board Victorian Snowflake frame which I painted pink. Mini Mulberry Flowers in pink and black were covered with Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass, another Tiny Treasures Sweet As Candy Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly, and a Tiny Treasures Polka Dots & Bling Butterfly. A stick pin finished off the back.

On one side of the purse I added a cabochon with some diva charms, lace, ribbon, and rose.

The inside was covered on the front and back and held one tag that used an image from the paper collection covered with a Beautiful Board Heart Deco Circle Bead Frame Chipboard frame with White Candy pearls and sitting on top of the frame is a Tiny Treasures Spun Candy Premium Paper Glitter Glass butterfly. The floral spray contains a flower from the Pink & White Roses & Leaves Mulberry Paper Flower set and is covered with Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. Black bling on the bottom and black and white gingham ribbon finish off the front of the tag. On the back is a small holder for a gift card.

I also made an easel card to go with this birthday gift for my niece. The Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board Sugar Plum Ballerina Laser Cut Chipboard image was also used on the card and fit beautifully into another scene from the paper collection Mintay’s “Glam Rock”. Another flower from the Pink & White Roses & Leaves Mulberry Paper Flower set was used along with a Mini Mulberry Paper Flower in black and white. The floral spray was again covered with Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. A gingham bow with buttons was added, and a Tiny Treasures Sweet As Candy Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly finishes off the card.
