Reneabouquets Tea Cup and Saucer
Alice in Wonderland Tea Party!
The base for this project is a Reneabouquets Cabbage Rose 3D Tea Cup Premium Paper DIY Die Cut Set and the inspiration comes from the Graphic 45 “Alice’s Tea Party” paper collection.
Once I assembled the cup and saucer I used a styrofoam ball and floral foam to fill the cup. I ran some lace around the inside of the cup, more lace around the outside of the cup, and some Reneabouquets Trim-Tattered Pink Pleated Tulle around the bottom. I fussy cut some flowers from the Graphic 45 paper to decorate the outside of the cup, and added a magnifying glass with a Butterfly Kisses Aurora Borealis Pink Butterfly sitting on top of the glass to tie in with the theme of the cup. Some lace, ribbon and a pearl decorated the handle of the cup and Reneabouquets Candy in pink was added to the scallops of the saucer.
The main piece for the background of the inside of the cup is a Beautiful Board Victorian Scroll frame. Some wording from the paper collection was cut to fill in the fame saying “Always Time For Tea”. The wording “Tea Party” was cut and glued to the top of the frame. The frame was decorated with Reneabouquets Candy pink pearls and a White Rabbit in Wonderland Pocket Watch Cabochon.
Attending the Tea Party are a Beautiful Board White Rabbit Itty Bitty, Beautiful Board Alice With A Warm Pig Itty Bitty, Beautiful Board Vintage Mad Hatter Itty Bitty, and a Beautiful Board Cheshire Cat Itty Bitty. Flowers fill the inside of the cup including some Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Pink and White Mulberry Flowers. Amid the flowers you can see some Reneabouquets Tea Time Trinkets and some mushrooms. Two Butterfly Kisses Aurora Borealis Pink Butterflies keep watch over the Tea Party!
