Altered Whiskey Bottle

The base of this project was a whiskey bottle. I loved this bottle because it was flat on two sides allowing me to use a chipboard frame on the front. The Art Deco image is from Pinterest. The bottle was painted with blue pearlized paint. Some pearl trim goes around the base of the bottle and some rosette lace trim with blue flowers goes around the neck of the bottle. Two brooches with bling and pearls were added to the frame to add a glamorous touch. Two sprays of mulberry flowers are on two corners of the frame with bits of lace tucked in. Two Tiny Treasures Sweet Dreams Cornflower Blue Premium Paper Butterflies fly on top of the sprays of roses and the roses were given a dusting of Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky Glitter Glass for even more shine.

On the sides of the bottle I added some rhinestone bling.

The back of the bottle features some Wedding Day Lace that is adorned with a bling piece in the center, small blue beads around the lace, and a hanging embellishment at the bottom. A rhinestone drawer pull tops off the top of the bottle.
