“Love” Altered Embroidery Hoop

This is an 8" altered embroidery hoop I made for a friend's Valentine's Day birthday using Mintay's "Chocolate Kisses" papers and die cuts. The background of the hoop was covered with some patterned paper from the collection matted on a piece of chipboard. Inside the hoop I added two Beautiful Board Twisted Chains in small and medium sizes that are embellished with some flatpack pearls. The hoop on the left features Printed Beautiful Board Small Vintage Fairy Bell Laser Cut Chipboard and some mulberry flowers. The smaller hoop one the right features Printed Beautiful Board Tiny Lissie B Darling. Both fairies have Gawdie Girl German Glitter Glass on their wings for sparkle. A tier of treats sits between these frames and the words "LOVE" are at the bottom of the hoop. A row of Reneabouquets Trim - Tattered Pink Pleat Tulle was added around the top of the hoop and topped with a row of lace and pearls. Some Reneabouquets Trim - Lovely Drop Lace hangs off the left side of the hoop and is topped with a Tiny Treasures Sweet As Candy Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly. Some ribbon and lace was added to the top of the hoop and finished off with a burgundy rose.
