"Bells are Ringing Christmas Ornament" by Design Team Artist Diane McClosky

"Bells are Ringing Christmas Ornament"

The lyrics from the song "Bells Are Ringing" is where my inspiration came from for the first project of the month.
I have always loved to hear church bells ringing especially at Christmas.

The base of the ornament is Bells Crafty Shapes by Stamperia which I covered in paper from 49 and Market Christmas Spectacular Collection.  I added red, white and green seadbeads under acetate to create the shaker portion.

In the bottom right hand corner, I created a cluster using Reneabouquets small Old Fashioned Santa Chipboard as the main image.  It is surrounded by laser cut pieces from Christmas Spectacular as well as First Snow Snowflakes that have been embossed in white.  I continued to layer with mini white roses covered in Pearl Microbeads and Diamond Fine Glitter Glass for added sparkle.

I did a flower cluster in the top left hand corner using laser cut pieces as the base and then placed the mini red roses on top that have also been sprinkled with Pearl Microbeads and Diamond Glitter Glass.  I used the small Beautiful Board Holly Flourish Chipboard which I cut apart for the holly leaves.  A red bow with a small gold jingle bell was tucked underneath with some Black Tear Drop Lace.

To finish the piece, clear beads were added to the flowers as well as peppermint candy flatbacks and a touch of snow.
