Glamorous Layout By Reneabouquets Design Team Artist Michelle McDonald

Good morning, lovely friends! Today we have a Glamorous layout created for the Reneabouquets Etsy and Reneabouquets.com by Design Team Artist Michelle McDonald:

For this page, Michelle used a mixture of papers from Prima, Marion Smith, and Kaiser Craft with a Bo Bunny base. She started by applying a thin layer of clear gesso to the background. Once dried, she added a bit of random stamping and some splatters of acrylic paint as well as Shimmerz Princess and Prima Color Bloom Plumeria. Next she added more texture with texture paste and two different stencils. While that was drying she began to build her photo mat layers, inking the edges for definition, and then matting them on cardboard for added dimension. After adhering her layers she started filling in her design with a bunch of goodies from Reneabouquets. As a finishing touch she then added small pool/drips of the Plumeria to the design and then a few more splatters.
Using gel medium and a spatula she applied the micro beads, scraping the background randomly for added texture and color.
Here is Michelle's supply list with direct links of Reneabouquet products that she used for this page:

Thanks so much for dropping in and letting Michelle share  her layout with you! I hope you have a creative day!

  1. Wowzer this is glamorous! Loving the pprs, the layers, flowers and pops of bright embels. But there is something esp. cool and unique about the vertical lines (tex paste) that really caught my eye~ Great accents w/the micro-beads. Very beautifully done! Karen O
