Shabby Chic Altered Frame

  I realize that by now, all the Christmas Decor has hit the stores, and yes...I'm already beginning projects for Christmas Bazaars, but my heart still wanted to create a design team project that captures calmer tones of the popular Fall colors of grays, ivory and add in some beautiful tones of aquas. I also wanted a relatively easy DIY project that looked like I spent a lot of time creating it.! :).
I started with a home decor frame/sign  that I purchased from Hobby Lobby in the Fall Decor section this year. It was perfect as it already had the farmhouse look with wood grain and stained a nice shade of grey. It did have a hefty price tag of about $3(on sale). LOL. I love to pack a lot of product in a small space! It doesn't take too much time, allows me to layer...alot... and in the end, create a memorable statement piece when it is finished. I used a lot of Reneabouquets  product including some Beautiful Board pieces for fall, some beautiful mulberry flowers in seafoam and my favorite Chiffon flowers with Rhinestone and Pearl centers.
