Using texture paste to create your own pattern paper by Cherry nelson

Hello fellow paper crafters!   Cherry  here again sharing a card project using some gorgeous Renea goodies again.  It has been so fun guesting this month for Renea!  This time I used a stencil to create my pattern paper and to create interest to my background.

I am sure I could have just used this beautiful board and NOTHING else to create a gorgeous card. They are their own pieces of art!  But of course I couldn't stop there.  So I grabbed my layering stencil, Tim Holtz's Doily stencil and created a Victorian background using texture paste from the store.

I than adhered the frame on top of a Queen Anne's lace ATC chipboard card and went to work adding some softness with lace.  I than added some sweet butterflies to add more dimension.

Of course some blooms were in order!  I added ribbons along with some curly roses in white, itty bitty blossoms in timeless blue, and some candy pink roses and leaves.  Other than that I added some cheesecloth to add some texture and my card was complete.  I hope you enjoyed this card.  Stay safe and healthy everyone!  Keep calm and craft on!

XOXO, Cherry
