ReneaBouquets DT Project- DIY Wheelbarrow Birthday Gift w/ Brandy

Happy June! Brandy here to share my latest DT project! This month I chose to dress up a Garden Party Wheelbarrow. What I really loved about this creation was using up some of my larger Mulberry Roses. ReneaBouquets carries the most beautiful mulberry roses...I just don't get a lot of chances to use the biggest ones, making greeting cards or mini albums.

First, I glued a foam block inside my assembled wheelbarrow. Then I started adding flowers roses and a few handmade fabric flowers until it was nice and full. ReneaBouquets mulberry roses and leaves come with a wire attached to the back, so I just had to put a touch of glue on the tips of the wires and push them gently into the foam block. I wound a few of the mulberry leaves around some of the fabric flower stems too. Finally, I filled in a little more with leaves I cut from fabric and stuck in the foam with straight pearl pins.
For even more interest, I added drops of glue and dusted them with pearl fine glitter. To complete it, I used a little hot glue to glue that adorable Happy Birthday Beautiful Board to the top most rose.

Here's a list of the ReneaBouquet products I used. Find them and so much more at www.reneabouquets.com!

Wow, what a few mulberry flowers and a little DIY kit can do!
I hope this inspires you to check out all of the "Off of the page" Beautiful Board!

Thanks for stopping by today!
