With Heartfelt Sympathy Card
I made this 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” card using Mintay’s “Love Letters” collection. The card base was a cream color that I distressed and used Ranger Distress Oxide in Vintage Photo around the edges. I also used this ink all all the pieces that I layered to give it a real vintage feel. The first layer was placed on the diagonal, next layer straight, and top piece diagonal again. This enabled the papers and laces to show up better. Lots of dimensional between the layers.
The first layer of the card was wrapped in Reneabouquets Ivory Wide Floral Embroidered Lace. This lace was also used on the third layered piece. In between was some Beautiful Board Small Medallion Set Laser Cut Chipboard. The Beautiful Board Queen Anne’s Lace ATC Chipboard was the perfect finishing piece to showcase the floral paper, pearls, and flowers. Some half pearls in teal were added to the top of the card, a sentiment from Shabby Arts Boutique, and a bit of cheesecloth around the tag image added a bit more texture.
