I was asked by a client if I would create a custom Alaska Travel Mini Album for her, and I couldn't say no. It was based on the Itinerary of her trip, and it was to be made in my favorite style; grungy and with natural fibers, colors and textures. I had SO MUCH FUN making this album!! I am so glad that I did not say no.

The base is a Prima Rectangular Album, the papers were from Scrapbook Customs with a few stash papers thrown in. I will walk you through some of the steps that did to create the album and products used, but it is so extensive, and would take so many photos to capture everything, I also created a short video of all the details. The Cover contains layers of distressed edge papers, a Reneabouquets

Beautiful Board Small Ironwork Clock Face and a

Medium Ironwork Clock Face that were inked with Tim Holtz Distress Tea Dye and Bundled Sage Inks, Fussy Cut Letters from the papers "ALASKA", corrugated board that is torn and stained with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Stain, Tim Holtz Metal Embellishments, Prima Flowers, burlap string bows and some little film strip stickers from my stash.

The piece that is used as the closure is a Tim Holtz Buckle and an old piece of salvaged leather.

I loved this wood grain paper and used that for the backside of the album.
