Reneabouquets Christmas In July

Embellishment Box Swap, 

Altered Canvas with Shaker,

Snowflake Ornament and

Wand with Shaker Box

These projects were made for my partner in the Reneabouquets Christmas In July Embellishment Box Swap.  The box I used was actually a jewelry box with a glass insert on the top.  I ended up covering that part with patterned paper from the "Joy to the World" collection by Graphic 45 to build my scene with Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Printed Gingerbread Set, the gothic gate decorated with Christmas lights, and a Beautiful Board Itty Bitty Snowman.  The box was trimmed with coordinating patterned paper and some pearls.  I left the box the original color because it really worked well with the Gingerbread Set.  Sprays of Roses cover two corners on the top of the box, and a Printed Beautiful Board Santa's Sleigh flies over the top of the box.  The curved sides were also covered in patterned paper, lace, Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Winter Snowflakes, and half pearls.  On the inside of the box I added lace, flowers and pearls around the area that was glass and made a lace pocket to hold a tag.  The inside of the box was covered in a cream velvet and I left that as it was.  Then filled the box with lots of goodies!

I made an altered canvas for my partner using Reneabouquets Beautiful Box First Snow Shaker Box with Frame as the highlight of the canvas.  The shaker box was filled with Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits in Tiny Hearts and Moon and Stars, some Beautiful Beads Designer Glass Moonstone, and some other colored beads.  Printed Beautiful Board Christmas Eve is inside the box with her kitten.  Snowflakes were also added.  I trimmed the box with patterned paper and adhered my frame and topped it with half pearls, mulberry flowers, and Printed Beautiful Board Christmas Joy with her packages.  Flying over the top is a Printed Beautiful Board Reindeer Joy Ride.  The top of the canvas had a Decorative Accent Snowflake flourish and I topped that with a snowflake trinket.  Red and white pearl trimmed tulle was added at the bottom of the canvas.

The base of the snowflake ornament was an ornament I received on a Christmas package.  I covered it with some patterned paper and a Beautiful Board Small Victorian Snowflake clock.  Printed Beautiful Board Small Victorian Christmas boy was added to the top of the clock alone with a spray of mulberry roses that were topped with German Glitter Glass and Moonstone beads.  Some white half back pearls were added to the snowflake and then some ribbon at the top to hang it and a pearl trinket at the bottom.

The Beautiful Board Pocket Wand Snowflake was topped with a Beautiful Box Small Round Shaker Box that was filled with snowflakes, colored beads, Moonstone glass beads, and German glitter glass.  Half back pearls in pink went around the edge of the shaker box and it was topped with a spray of mulberry roses and Printed Beautiful Board Small Victorian Winter in Frosty Pink with her snowball.  The wand was wrapped with pink ribbon and tied off with some lace and some trinkets.
