Reneabouquets: When Snow Falls Nature Listens - Beautiful Board Snowflake Loaded Tag by Design Team Artist Diane McClosky

It's already the first week of December! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. I have been busy creating a project with amazing products from Reneabouquets to gift to someone special!

The Beautiful Board Snowflake Loaded Tag Chipboard Kit is a perfect winter-themed decoration that can be left out even after the Christmas decorations have been put away. I used the serene and peaceful Winter Journey Collection from Ciao Bella to create this beautiful scene. Although we don't get a lot of snow where I live, when winter arrives and covers the ground with a beautiful blanket of white powder, it brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the world.

To start the project, I first traced the paper to fit perfectly behind the tag and secured it in place. I then cut one of the cards from the paper pack and placed it just below the flower cluster at the top of the tag. For the flower spray, I used Dusty Blue Roses along with White Roses and added some greenery from a Christmas pick that I had on hand. To give it more height, I added a small piece from the Beautiful Board Texture Pattern in Blue behind it. Moving to the bottom of the tag, I created another flower cluster using the same Dusty Blue Roses and added the Mini Vintage Berry Paper Roses to make it more vibrant. In the bottom right-hand corner, you'll find a cute image of Claire in a snowball fight. I also added two small pieces from the Texture Pattern in Blue. The tag set comes with mini snowflakes that I glittered and added to various places on the front of the piece.

Let's talk about the back of the tag. I used two different pieces of paper for layering. One of them features a stunning picture of a bird in its natural habitat. There is a pocket located at the back of the tag, which you can fill with anything you like. It's an excellent way to showcase cards you receive during the season or special photos or even a little candy to satisfy your sweet tooth!

I created a snug-fitting ornament for the back pocket's top. For this, I used a snowflake ornament from my stash and made some alterations to it. I fussy cut a piece of paper with the words "When Snow Falls Nature Listens" and adhered it on top of a piece of cardboard to give it some height. This allowed me to tuck the greenery underneath and add it to the top along with the roses and other items to give it a winter feel. You will find the tiny sledding sister enjoying the snow-covered hills in the bottom right-hand corner of the ornament. For the final touch, I sprinkled the project with glitter, and pearl microbeads and added Snowtex.
