"Bon Soir" Altered Canvas

This is an altered 5"x7" canvas that I made for a friend's birthday. Her kitchen is decorated with roosters and Graphic 45 French Country papers were perfect for this project.

I covered the canvas with patterned paper and added two border strips that were cut from another paper in the set. I painted a chipboard frame to frame the cut apart with the rooster on it. Added some Beautiful Board Hexagon to the top of the frame and set a Sweetheart Bumble Bee on top. A Reneabouquets Dreamer Trinket was added at the bottom. A spray of mulberry roses sits on the bottom left of the canvas and is topped with a Tiny Treasures Salted Caramel Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly. Heart lace goes around the side of the canvas, and the bottom features some pleated tulle topped with black lace. Bits of lace were also tucked in the floral spray and around the frame. Two Beautiful Board Small April in Paris Adornment Pattern pieces were added to the top corners and some half pearls were added to it to finish it off.
