“Sweet As Honey” Cutting Board
This was my first project altering a cutting board. I painted the sides and back of the board in blue and then covered the front with some blue paper. Used a stencil to add some honeycomb effects. The left side has a lace border with a floral spray on it and Beautiful Board Itty Bitty Flower Girl Dahlia in the bottom corner. On the right side of the board I used a Printed Beautiful Board Small Sugar Bee Hive and added some sugar bees and Fairy Bell to it. The hive is watched over by a Printed Beautiful Board Small Whisper Fairy With Glass Wings. Beautiful Board Hexagon Elements Laser Cut Chipboard backed the bee hive. The words "Sweet As Honey" were added to the top of the board. On the handle I added a piece of scalloped lace, roses, and an Itty Bitty Blue Jay. The bottom was finished off with ribbon and a glittery embellishment.
