"She Lives The Poetry She Cannot Write"
Altered Canvas
The base of this project is an 8" circle panel canvas that I covered with papers from Mintay's "Antique Shop" collection and added a bit of stenciling to the background. Lots of die cut pieces were added to the wardrobe image and some cheesecloth tucked in for texture. I dressed the mannequin in a lace, ribbon, and pearl skirt. A Beautiful Board Fairy Bell Itty Bitty sits atop the wardrobe. I added sprays of mulberry flowers on two sides of the canvas with some Beautiful Board Small Butterfly Flourishes and topped with Tiny Treasures Precious Moments Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies. A row of pearls outlines the canvas. A Tarnished Brass Dream Metal Key sits at the bottom of the canvas and it topped with a Butterfly Kisses Delicate Beauty Single Side Printed Butterfly. The words "She Lives The Poetry She Cannot Write" finishes off the top of the canvas.
