Reneabouquets: Happy Little Girl Layout by Design Team Artist Diane McClosky

This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter when she was just seven months old. This was taken in the spring of 1994 so time really does fly!

The Mintay Tiny Miracle and Elodie Collection papers worked out perfectly for this layout.

The first step was to cut a strip of the pink patterned paper and adhere it to a piece of cardboard to give it height. I matted the picture and then added the cathedral elements (cut in half) chipboard to the back of the photograph and adhered to the pink strip. Because of the layers I created, I could add several fussy cut elements around the picture and sides of the strip. I added Reneabouquets beautiful white, pink, and vintage berry roses dusted with pearl and pink microbeads to give added dimension.

In the bottom corner, I created a cluster with fussy cut elements with the doily heart chipboard as a base. I added the title with some additional cutouts from the Tiny Miracle Collection and finished it off with the gorgeous Venetian embroidered lace in pink and the butterfly kisses in pink and blue.

I absolutely love how this turned out, it really captures the sweetness and innocence of my daughter at that age. The soft colors and delicate embellishments complement the photo perfectly.
