Altered Frame by Toni

Hi everyone, hope you are having a wonderful month. Today I have a frame I picked up at the Dollar Store and altered it to suit one of my favorite photos of my little furry boy Bubba. This is such an easy project how you can take something inexpensive and customize it for yourself.

I did a bit of stamping on the cardstock that I used with a honeycomb stamp. Stamped it here and there around the photo. The cardstock I used is from Country Craft Creations "Bee House", a simply gorgeous collection of papers. I fussy cut some of the flowers to place around the left side of the frame to build my foundation. The florals I used are the Mini Old Gold Mulberry Paper Roses and Leaves, Caramel And Sugar Roses, Gardenia and Leaves and the Honey Roses and Leaves Mulberry Paper Flowers.

I used some BRAND NEW items from the store on this frame, first up I used Printed Beautiful Board Small Sugar Bee Hive Laser Cut Chipboard, above the corner of the photo is the Beautiful Board Small Sugar Bee Corners Laser Cut Chipboard. The gorgeous bee I used is our Sugar Bees Premium Paper Glitter Glass Bee. I also added the Beautiful Board Medium Bee Hive Elements Laser Cut Chipboard and I cut it into pieces and added 3 layers of UTEE embossing powder to it for the illusion of honey.

Here is a close up of that pretty sugar bee.

Then from the trinket department in the store I had to use Reneabouquets Queen Bee Clock Charms Trinket Pack. For the centers of the flowers I dropped beads of hot glue into the middle of some microbeads, wait for them to dry and then place them in the middle of the flowers. The microbeads used are No Hole Old Gold Glass Microbeads and also No Hole Pearl Glass Microbeads .

I hope you enjoyed this project and encourage you to take a frame and do some altering to it. Wishing you a BEE utiful rest of the month... xoxo

"Be Gentle With Yourself" Embroidery Hoop Shaker by Toni

Hi everyone... hope you are having a wonderful month. Today I have a new fun project, inspired by our ever so beautiful moodboard this month.
I used an embroidery hoop to create a shaker filled with pretty sequins. The tulle I used around the border is ReneaBouquets Ivory Pleated Tulle. All the supplies used from the store will be listed with their websites below.
One of ReneaBouquets newest beautiful board pieces is the BB Music Note Butterfly... simply exquisite. I placed that as well as sequins inside the shaker.
Beautiful Board is just that .... beautiful, you can alter with paint, ink, embossing etc. but there is no need as it is simply gorgeous in it's natural state.
And what would any project be without adding some of the flowers from the store as well as a handmade butterfly to complete the project. I hope you were inspired and will give this a try... Wishing you a creative day ! Also below is a video so you can watch my step by step process.

Spring Garden Purse by Toni

Hi everyone, well spring has sprung here in the U.S. and this makes me so very happy. You know what else makes me happy.... this months moodboard.
Loving these colors this month and so these colors along with springtime inspired my project. I took a ReneaBouquets 4D BB Purse and combined it with the 3D BB Wheelbarrow & Gate to create a sweet little project.
These two 3D & 4D pieces are so easy to put together. I kind of went crazy with ReneaBouquet blooms and the gate is hidden, but trust me it's in there... lol
To add some sparkle I also added microbeads and chunky glass glitters to some of the flowers.
And how can a project be complete without some ReneaBouquet butterflies... they make everything perfect.
Tucked inside the purse is more blooms, spanish moss, gardening tools and seed packet. Hope you enjoyed this project and there is a list of supplies below. Creatively yours, Toni

"Tea Time, Us Time" Shabby Chic Tea Kettle by Toni

Hi crafty peeps and ReneaBouquet lovers. I'm here today to share with you a new design team project featuring of course ReneaBouquets yummy items.  If you are a fan of shabby chic then you will need to drop by the store and take a look at all the unbelievable items the store has to help inspire your creativity.
I started off with Prima's Teapot Frame and it was nicely aged but I wanted  a more soft shabby look, so I stated by giving the structure a light white brushing and then went back in with silver metallic embossing powder. I smudged it here and there to provide that shiny tea kettle appeal. The two main focal points on the piece are the Beautiful Board Iron Clock Work Face and the two precious Beautiful Board Printed "Tea With Me' items.
Adorning the sweet girls I have some of ReneaBouquets Tangerine Quartz Roses that were sprinkled with Diamond Shard Glitter Glass, as well as her gorgeous Rustic Autumn Glitter Glass Butterflies.
The tiny PrincessTrinkets items in the bottom of this photo (above) are a perfect fit for this project.
For your pleasure, I have included a creative process video. Hope you enjoyed and were inspired ! xoxo Toni
