Altered Shabby Chic Birdcage

The minute I saw new product line from Reneabouquets called “April in Paris”, the Beautiful Board and Printed Beautiful Board collection, I had to create a project featuring at least two of the 1800’s vintage ladies, Elisabeth and Gabrielle...both stunningly elegant in detail. I wanted to feature them in a moment of time, capturing, perhaps, a qlimpse of their statuesque beauty and hoping to portray that feeling of another era. This is why I thought it would be great to place the scene in a birdcage...it’s captured in an enclosed space, and allows your mind to take a glimpse into the 1800’s, making it feel more up close and personal...at least this is what I wanted to portray with this particular project.
