Vintage Doll Journal + Doll + Altered File Folder

Hello Friends!

Today I wanted to shared with you'all this Vintage sewing doll theme that I got inspired by a set of trinkets from Reneabouquets shop and I knew it has to be a sewing related, then I found this old newspaper file of classifies from the toys section back in Christmas time, they were a lot of doll and dresses etc. I knew this was for me to do! to combine my love for paper crafting, sewing and doll making in one whole project!

Here you can see the file folder holding the doll and journal inside, for the Altered file folder I used laces from reneabouquets shop that will play well with y color theme ( Vintage ) I did pockets, one with baking paper and the other one with the little girl card on the side, each pocket carries a tea dye note pad decorated with petite lace from the shop, I used the gorgeous Love Story butterfly, flower and a lot of stitching to decorated.

the doll carries one of the crowns from the trinkets section, the dress is made with vintage fabric and lots of lace from the shop as well

Vintage Doll Journal

The journal base is made of pocket's  front - center - back, here is the first pocket with tag ( you can see picking out on top) then in the front I layer laces and with the wedding applique lace I created a side pocket with a tag that pick out as well, then on the side I layer tea dye paper and a doll pattern card  with some buttons, the spine is made with fabric and lace creating a Raggety trim, I also made a dangle with the sewing trinkets from the shop.

here's the back side of the journal again with a pocket , you can see the tag picking out on top and it also has a lace pocket in the bottom, all pocket are stitch to the base and distress with vintage photo
