ReneaBouquets DT Project Altered Mini Canvas w/ Brandy

                                                                                                 

Happy March, ReneaBouquets Fans! Brandy here to share a pretty little decorated canvas I made for an example for this months swap on the RB Artist's with an Edge page on Facebook! Read all about it here- ReneaBouquets March Mini Canvas Swap.

My inspiration for this canvas was Renea's beautiful Magnolia  Fower Frame Chipboard. So dainty and detailed....and boy, it coordinates perfectly with her Flower Girl Dahlia! 

I watercolored my Pretty Ivy Pattern pieces and canvas with some  brushed sage oxide ink.

Then I added some sparkle embossing powder to my Majestic Dragonfly and Circuit Elements.

          I used Moonstone Beautiful Beads to adorn the dragonfly.

I like to use Mat Gel to glue my BBoard Elements down... I like to tap the back with a pallet knife with plenty of glue... It insures I'll get a nice coat for a great bond to my canvas.

Once I have my layout chose, I can glue them down and start embellishing! 

Flowers and leaves and beads, oh my!  I top it all off with precious little Dahlia.

I love it! The soft greens and bright pinks sure do make me long for spring!
