EASTER EGG HOME DECOR

Spring has finally graced us with its presence! Each year, I find myself entranced by the stunning burst of colors that come with the season: the brilliant yellow daffodils, the fiery red tulips, and the delicate blossoms of flowering trees.

Easter is just around the corner, and to celebrate, I've decided to channel my creativity into making some handcrafted home décor that will bring a touch of holiday cheer into my home.

For my project, I ventured to Hobby Lobby and selected wooden egg shapes. I chose to adorn the first egg with a beautiful patterned paper from the Flower Market Collection by Ciao Bella, while the second egg was graced with a stunning design from 49 and Market.

Before jumping into the layering process, I heat embossed the egg chipboard in white on the first egg. For the second egg, however, I opted to keep the chipboard in it's natural state. The versatility of Reneabouquets chipboard is one of the aspects I love - it can shine on its own or be transformed through heat embossing or painting, allowing for endless possibilities in personal style.

For the next step, I positioned the chipboard eggs as my initial layer. As I continued, I added cutouts from the paper collection, enhancing the visual narrative of each egg. The first egg prominently features the adorable Evie as the centerpiece, embodying the joyous spirit of spring. In contrast, the second egg celebrates the playful innocence of tiny baby chicks, filling it with warmth and charm.

As I arranged these elements, I added an assortment of flowers in various sizes and colors, each adding its own flair to the composition. To further elevate the decor's beauty, I sprinkled in an array of embellishments—pearl microbeads, seed beads, crystal-clear beads, and a touch of glitter glass—each adding an enchanting shimmer and subtle depth to the pieces. On the second egg, I decided to add a colorful ribbon to finish the piece.
