Goodmorning & Happy April Amazing Renea Bouquets Fans, 

Today is my turn again on this lovely blog to post something made all with Renea Bouquets beautiful products! As you maybe know by now I am a die hard layout maker, I began about 17 years ago and in the beginning I always made dubble pages but in the process of my scrapbooking years they became single pages. Sometimes I think and start trying to make a double one but that idea never sticks with me for long....for today I have a single page again lol....that started in my mind as a double page.

On this layout I used a picture of our little Abbey when she was about 3 months old this time I went for a romantic layout.

Sweet Dreams My Little Fairy: 

For this layout I off course used some amazing Maja Design papers the "Miles Apart" collection which is a wonderful fit for the pretty Dragonflies & beautiful roses by Renea Bouquets. The colours match very well. I will make a short video that you can find below with the names of the products I have used here.  

As you see I ripped the papers in pieces and then layered them the way I wanted to, so the pink papers peak through in one part but I wanted to have the green as my focal point. Behind the green I added the beautiful lace I think lace on your layout makes it really feminine. On top of my green sheet I added a script stencil.

I am so much in love with the beautiful dragonflies by Renea Bouquets that I just want them all lol...I am very happy to be designer for Renea for the rest of this year.

Altered Dragonfly Paintbrush by Lanette

Hello everyone Lanette here,

Today I wanted to share my altered paintbrush with you. Unfortunately I missed last month swap in the Facebook group. But I really enjoy creating altered paintbrushes, so I picked out a couple supplies and went to work.

I decided to use Renea's Beautiful Small  Printed Board Patina Heart & one of her amazing dragonflies as my focal point. I just love the way they look together.

Altered Fairy Moon Wand by Lanette

Today I wanted to share a quick mixed-media project that I created using one of Renea's Beautiful Board Fairy Wands. She has several different ones I chose the fairy moon wand as I loved how the fairy is sitting on the moon.

The base was super easy I'm just a wooden block ,

I had my husband cut from of a old 2x4. 

A bit of wire & beads to add a little something extra is super quick and easy.

A  pair  of dramatic crystals add just a touch of glamour.

ReneaBouquets DT Project~ Cup of Happiness with Brandy

Behold A Comforting Cup of Happiness! Hello RB fans :) 

Brandy here to share a cup filled to the brim with ReneaBouquets goodness! 

After assembling my Tea Cup, I chose a color scheme that coordinated with my cup design and used some of my RB flower stash to build my own little everlasting piece of art! I padded it further with some extra leaves and fabric flowers from my stash as well. Complete with BB quilling pattern leaves, I topped it with a couple gorgeous Pendant Blue Dragonflies! 

A true feast for the eyes, wouldn't you say!?

Reneabouquets DT Project- Hat Boxes and More

Hi Crafty friends, 

I am so happy to share these adorable Hat Boxes and Gifts using gorgeous items from Reneabouquets!

Everything you make can be beautifully adorned, and these Hat Boxes are very versatile for many gift-giving opportunities. I have chosen to include some easy options.

First, are the adorable Hat Boxes, that I designed especially for this project. I thought Hat Boxes would be the perfect way to present a small dimensional card,  mini album or gift  that you could easily give as a Mother's Day gift, or for many other occasions. 

For this lavender Hat Box and the projects below, I have used the following:

A Beautiful Board Large Follow Your Heart Doilies Chipboard, that adorns the front of both boxes, perfectly paired with the 1 Ounce No Hole Dark Purple Glass Microbeads in the center. 

Butterfly Kisses Spun Lavender Single Side Printed Butterflies, and Delicate Beauty Butterfly Kisses, Tiny Treasures Premium Paper To Venus And Back Glitter Glass Dragonflies, Lavender And White Roses And Leaves Mulberry Flower Set,  Flower Crown Lace~White 4.25 Inch Wide,

Venetian Embroidered Lace~ White, White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace,  Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass, and

Beautiful Beads Designer Glass Moonstone

For a closer look, here is the amazing Tiny Treasures Premium Paper To Venus And Back Glitter Glass Dragonfly I added to my project along with the  Lavender And White Roses And Leaves Mulberry Flower Set, sprinkled with  Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass, and Delicate Beauty Butterfly Kisses. These are truly amazing and add elegance to any project!

Below is a closer look of the Beautiful Board Large Follow Your Heart Doilies Chipboard, as well as the No Hole Dark Purple Glass Microbeads and Beautiful Beads Designer Glass Moonstone. These lend a nice sparkle and also give awesome texture to the delicate board pieces.

Here you see what the Hat Box can contain. An adorable little brag book that is sure to please any recipient. 

I used the Printed Beautiful Board Tiny Majestic Hummingbirds Chipboard, as it fit perfectly on the cover of this little album, latered onto a piece of Flower Crown Lace . It is also adorned with Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits - Tea Roses, Beautiful Beads Designer Glass Moonstones, Delicate Beauty Butterfly Kisses, and Rose colored Microbeads

The back of this mini album is also beautifully decorated with a piece of the Beautiful Butterfly Lace~Purple 2 1/2 Inch Wide. The gorgeous pearls on the center of the butterfly make this little book equally as lovely on the back as the front.

Here you can also see that I decorated the back of the Hat Box using more White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace, and a Delicate Beauty Butterfly Kisses Butterfly...

Here is another gift option, and a gorgeous alternative to a mini album. A Hat shaped Easel Card!

Every woman needs a crown, so how about this lavender beauty?

I topped it off with another small piece of  White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace, the gorgeous Lavender And White Roses And Leaves Mulberry Flower Set, and lastly, more 

 Butterfly Kisses Spun Lavender Single Side Printed Butterflies and sprinkles of Moonstone beads and Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits - Tea Roses that also allow the card to stand open.

Shabby Chic Envelope with Attributes of Love

Hi friends,

I am sharing a very special project with you today, as I am thrilled to be invited as a Guest Designer for Renea Bouquets this month!

To make use of her absolutely gorgeous projects, I decided to make a piece inspired by 1 Corinthians 13. In this chapter of the Bible, we can read about the Attributes of Love. I was inspired to use this as the message of my home décor piece. 

This is a metal and wood envelope, and as you can see, I was able to alter it and make it a gorgeous piece that would be suitable for home decor, or to celebrate any special occasion!

I began by painting the base of the envelope with white acrylic paint, and adding designer paper to the inside. I then used gel medium gesso, and Diamond Chunky Glitter Glass to give it a shabby distressed, but classy look. Of course I had to make use of some of Renea's absolutely gorgeous Vintage Blue Mulberry flowers. 

I love Gardenias and Roses, so these had to make it on the front. I surrounded a Beautiful Board Victorian Heart Doily and added  Small Victorian Scroll Borders, all embossed in white, and then topped them off with Butterflies to match. The Wide Floral Embroidered Lace and Reneabouquets Trim-Timeless White Lace

 added just the perfect mix of vintage and femininity to my project. 

Here you can see the beautiful Trim Timeless White lace as well as the texture from the glass glitter added to the designer paper. I used Stamperia papers for this project, as well as vellum and Kraft paper for lots of shabby texture.

You may be surprised to learn that Reneabouquets  also carries trinkets, but you can see some here, with the little glass bauble, as well as the precious pearl and diamond button I added to the front of the large envelope.

 Here you can see that I designed banners to top my envelopes. Each with a different attribute of love, and all take part in completing the Bible verse about love.

 Here is a closeup of one of the envelopes that I stitched with gold thread, and added magnets to for easier closure.

 I also used a delicate skeleton leaf from Renea's shop to add texture to a small note that I hand stitched with gold thread. All of my enveloped got texture and shabbiness from Renea's shop!

On this envelope you can see the gorgeous Moonstone glass beads, Champagne Microbeads, Heart Lattice Chipboard, and Pendant Blue dragonfly, all from Renea's shop. The lent just the perfect shabby touch to this romantic envelope that I layered using vellum that I embossed and altered with mixed media. 

I also made a small delicate banner using vintage seam binding topped with small hearts and Cotton Candy flat back pearls . This envelope is also a shaker, and has an inlay heart that also states :Love does not delight in evil bu rejoices in the Truth...

For this envelope I used more of the stunning wide floral embroidered lace, Cotton candy pearls, and another dragonfly to go along with the tattered papers, tulle, and vellum lace piece for an extra shabby look. 

I also heat embossed and distressed the envelopes as needed using Ranger Oxide ink and White Embossing powder from Recollections, and a stamp from BoBunny. 

The last envelope in this project was made using embossed vellum, mulberry paper, glimmery tulle, embossed and distressed paper, lacy paper diecuts, and I added heart paper clips from Tonic Studios as well as the gorgeous dragonfly that matched perfectly from Reneabouquets. 

I share more details in my video, as well as a tutorial showing the assembly of the large envelope. This was tons of fun to make, and it was a wonderful experience using these gorgeous projects. Please use the links for your convenience, and as always I hope that you can

Mixed Media Canvas *Paradise*

 Hello!  Today I have a Mixed Media Canvas with my favorite colors!  I used lots of crackle,  white sand texture paste,  spray inks,  stamping and plenty of embellishments.

 I love using microbeads and ReneaBouquets Shard,  it adds great texture and interest to any project.

 I heat embossed the chipboard and then stamped over it to give more texture.

 One of my favorite ReneaBouquets butterflies is Tiny Treasure Leopard butterflies,  so Gorgeous and fun to create with.
