I am very happy to see you here today, this will be my final layout for this wonderful company. It was a true pleasure to work with such amazing truly gorgeous embellishments, thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart Renea & David for having me on the team. Jeroen, Abbey and me went to the zoo last Saturday and we had a wonderful time even though it was very cold. We went there because Abbey loves Panda's and she had a blast. We took a bunch of pictures and the picture I used I found very amuzing our little dare devil....

Fearless Beyond Believe: 

The Beautiful Boards are treated with some white gesso & later on when that dried I added some true snow and I dapped that on the beautiful board and let it air dry....the chain circle I treated with some rust paste and some white matte wax. The word "Fearless" was painted black with gesso and some wax on top of that. 

I am so much in love with these butterflies on this layout I think they look so cute! I also did some machine stitching onthis page I really love doing so.....

Me & My Big Brother by Amy Voorthuis

 Goodmorning lovely Renea Bouquets Fans, 

How nice of you to visit the blog today, this time I would like to share another layout created with all amazing Renea Bouquets products. I am very excited about this one because Renea designed the "me & my big brother" phrase for me when I asked her it's that sweet? Abbey just loves her big bro that she always wants to play with him on the slide, swing set & seesaw and Kevin just does it without whining about it.

My & My Big Brother: 

I just love it how the cobalt blue & light yellow go so well together. For this layout I used a bunch of beautiful Renea Bouquets embellishments & two Maja Design collections Coffee in the Arbour and Life by the Sea. I added some lace behind the blue & white stripped sheet to give my layout some demension!

I also added a script stencil by finnabair on my background and I used some sprays....I let the phrase pop out by using the same yellow sheet as I used underneath my lace. And the cut it out and distredded the edges a little I finished my layout by using sequins & art stones.

Mixed Media "Bloom Where You Are Planted" Layout by Toni

Hi everyone, today I have a new layout to share with you with some pretty springtime goodies from Reneabouquets store. Let's get started. I first stitched around the perimeter of my background paper for interest then I wanted to highlight the pathway in the photograph therefore I tore the paper and used chocolate corrugated cardboard for the mat to bring your eye forward in the layout.  I then used Beautiful Board Grid Elements Laser Cut Chipboard on the sides of the photo to provide a garden trellis effect. It also adds some nice texture to your photo surrounding. Then I tucked the Beautiful Board Wild Flower Gears around the sides of the photo. Playing off the slight shade of peach in the photo I decided to use Soft Peach Roses and also one of my very favorite colors Antique Linen Roses. The Antique Linen is such a versatile color and goes with everything. The flowers come with some extra pretty mulberry leaves to use so I layered them with the Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Skeleton Leaf Chipboard. I then decided, what would a gardening layout be without the pretty Printed Beautiful Board Small Tuck It In Sweet Daisy Chipboard. I then added the Beautiful Board Small Feathers Set of 3 around the layout. To finish off the layout I added Queen Bee Clock Charm from the trinkets in the store and the gorgeous Secret Garden Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies. Of course I had to add a bit of bling to the layout so I went around the perimeter of the layout and sprinkled Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. This was a fun layout to create, fun colors to play with and I hope you enjoyed this. For your pleasure I do have a video tutorial below for your viewing. Easter Easel Cards by Toni

 Hi everyone, it's Toni here today and I'm here to share a couple of fun cards created for Easter. 

There are so many items in Reneabouquets store to take your spring projects over the top, from flowers, to lace, to trinkets and beads. I love creating dimensional art and my cards are no exception. Taking this Beautiful Board Faberge Eggs With Bead Holes provided such a pretty focal point on one of the cards. I embossed it in gold and then placed it on a piece of acetate to give the illusion of floating.  The addition of the Beautiful Beads Rose Gold Iridescent Pearls matched beautifully with the paper I chose for the card . 

Around the perimeter of the wreath I added pretty little Beautiful Beads Candy in Pale Pink. I then used the metal frame from the Mermaid Trinkets Pack to put my sentiment on the card. 

For my second card I decided to emboss in silver our Beautiful Board Word Happy Easter for my focal point. Also adhering it to acetate for a floating effect. 

The butterfly I chose to add to this card is the Lavender Fairy Dust Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly. The flowers I added are the Purple Roses and Leaves and also the Plum Roses and Leaves. I also added some Beautiful Beads Candy in Lavender on the top of the embossed flowers. To finish off both card fronts, it's very subtle but adds just the perfect bit of sparkle I added Gawdie Girl Fine German Glass Glitter. It provides a soft sugary look to the cards without over doing it. 

Hoping this provided a new technique and some ideas to use your Reneabouquets art items on your project. Wishing you a month filled with new beginnings, a fresh start and peace.

"Love" Mixed Media Layout by Toni

Hi everyone, it's time for a mixed media layout. Lots of different layers going on here and so many pretty items from Reneabouquets store. I used the  Beautiful Board Large Butterfly Flourish Frame Laser Cut Chipboard  to start the foundation for my photo mat. Then I created lots of layers of scraps I had in my stash as well as the pretty White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace 

 

I painted all of my beautiful board with a coat of white acrylic first before applying it to the layout.  I love creating layers on my layout because it makes it real easy to place the sweet little Beautiful Board Ivy Vines Tuck It In Laser Cut Chipboard  and  Beautiful Board Large Butterflies And Roses Laser Cut Chipboard Set of Two  under and around the different florals I choose to use on the project. 

Speaking of florals, there is so many to choose from in the store but my pick for this layout is the Candy Pink Roses And Leaves Mulberry Paper Flowers  and I also decided for more texture around the edges I added some 1 Ounce No Hole Pale Pink Glass Microbeads . The title on this "Love" is NEW in the store and it is Beautiful Words 4 Mixed Sizes Love Laser Cut Chipboard . 

Some of the finishing touches are added were the Beautiful Board Medium Rose Heart Locket Key Laser Cut Chipboard , Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Tweet Laser Cut Chipboard and the Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Rose Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard . But nothing finishes off a project without Reneabouquets gorgeous handmade butterflies, and I used Fairy Dust Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies . @mlarson525 I have a 29 second Instagram video of when I started painting this page.

To make this page I applied clear gesso to 49 and Market paper. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger. Below that is a mat of watercolor paper, and under that is corrugated cardboard. I tore off most the paper from the surface of the cardboard, and painted it with gesso. I put two or three layers of corrugated cardboard between each layer to add dimension. 

I put the layers with the photo onto the page. I applied Prima Platinum Crackle Paste with a stencil to the paper with an old credit card. 

I picked out Beautiful Board(BBoard),prepped it with gesso, painted it with green and gold Shimmerz on the leaves and stars, and topped them with a thick coat of Clear Rock Candy Crackle. I painted the BB Small Stackable Honey Bee Pattern with Pixie Dust Shimmerz, then a little green Shimmerz and some crackle.I added a few pieces of Sweet Daisy BBoard.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, glass beads, pearls, Swarovski crystals, rhinestones,sequins,gold leaf, pressed flowers and leaves,tulle,iridescent wrapping paper, flowers from Reneabouquets , metal from Reneabouquets, clay pieces from a Prima Mould,a glass bottle I put some chain inside,and bling and metal from my stash. There are small fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 papers.

I made the background with layers of Shimmerz paints, white ink,Prima waxes,alcohol ink, distress ink, and citrine colored Mica powder. I topped a lot of the page with a gold paste by Shimmerz. I added white gesso to make some negative space, because the page got too busy. I flicked on white ink at the end.

I glued on iridescent wrapping paper on the copper spoon, and glued moonstones on top. I wrapped on some copper wire. I added shimmerz paint, prima waxes, and mica powder. The little orange things are seeds from a flower from a bunch that my husband surprised me with a few weeks ago.
