Hello Autumn Altered Birdhouse/Box

The base of this project is a birdhouse/box from Dollar Tree which I painted blue and added feet to. The box part was covered in burlap for a fall feel and Reneabouquet's Beautiful Board words "Hello Autumn" were added to the front of the box along with a Printed Beautiful Board Small Little Scarecrow Laser Cut Chipboard piece. I just love that scarecrow and his blue color was the inspiration for the blues in this project. To the box I added some floral foam to fill in the space so I could add some mulberry flowers, some little pumpkins from Hobby Lobby, and Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board Hello Autumn Mushrooms Tuck It Ins. The back part of the house was covered in patterned paper in blues and tans. For the roof I covered the eves in brown paper and then added pieces of pine cones for a rustic looking roof and some ivory trim. Some moss was added to the top of that. At the peak of the birdhouse is a Beautiful Board Blue Jay Itty Bitty on top of a Hello Autumn branch. Flying above the box is a Reneabouquets Water Color Rustic Autumn Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterfly.
