Reneabouquets March 2021 Moodboard Inspiration Challenge Project by Jenn DuBell

 

Hello everyone!! Jenn here sharing my take on this months Moodboard! Luscious golds and greens are the colors for March and a perfect fit for the St. Patrick's Day Holiday!!

For my project I created an easel card using lots of Reneabouquets beautiful chipboards and flowers.

I have also used:

Gold Acrylic Paint

Gold Mica Spray

Foam Adhesive

Embossing Powder

Distress Inks

 My beautiful boards are painted with Distress Inks and then embossed using gold iridescent powder. For my Beautiful beads, I have used gold alcohol ink to dye them. I added just a delicate brushing of gold acrylic paint to the flowers and then sprayed my card gently with a gold mica spray.

The inside of my easel has a pocket to place a gift card or other goodies.

The easel style is great for a display piece as well.

@mlarson525 I have a 29 second Instagram video of when I started painting this page.

To make this page I applied clear gesso to 49 and Market paper. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger. Below that is a mat of watercolor paper, and under that is corrugated cardboard. I tore off most the paper from the surface of the cardboard, and painted it with gesso. I put two or three layers of corrugated cardboard between each layer to add dimension. 

I put the layers with the photo onto the page. I applied Prima Platinum Crackle Paste with a stencil to the paper with an old credit card. 

I picked out Beautiful Board(BBoard),prepped it with gesso, painted it with green and gold Shimmerz on the leaves and stars, and topped them with a thick coat of Clear Rock Candy Crackle. I painted the BB Small Stackable Honey Bee Pattern with Pixie Dust Shimmerz, then a little green Shimmerz and some crackle.I added a few pieces of Sweet Daisy BBoard.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, glass beads, pearls, Swarovski crystals, rhinestones,sequins,gold leaf, pressed flowers and leaves,tulle,iridescent wrapping paper, flowers from Reneabouquets , metal from Reneabouquets, clay pieces from a Prima Mould,a glass bottle I put some chain inside,and bling and metal from my stash. There are small fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 papers.

I made the background with layers of Shimmerz paints, white ink,Prima waxes,alcohol ink, distress ink, and citrine colored Mica powder. I topped a lot of the page with a gold paste by Shimmerz. I added white gesso to make some negative space, because the page got too busy. I flicked on white ink at the end.

I glued on iridescent wrapping paper on the copper spoon, and glued moonstones on top. I wrapped on some copper wire. I added shimmerz paint, prima waxes, and mica powder. The little orange things are seeds from a flower from a bunch that my husband surprised me with a few weeks ago.

ReneaBouquets Design Team Project Altered Paint Brush w/ Brandy

Hi there fans of ReneaBouquets! Brandy here to share the paint brush I altered for my partner for the July Swap. I've been excited for these little turtle corners for some time now, so glad I found the perfect home for them. 

One of my summer Beautiful Board favorites are these starfish! They come with those tiny little Beautiful Bit flowers that I heat embossed with a pinkish powder. I loved dressing it all up with beautiful beads!

I used a cheap 4 inch paintbrush... I think these are the best size to alter! :D I decided to keep this brush natural looking, so after painting it with a coat of gesso, I inked the edges with some yellow/tan ink.

 I just love all that ReneaBouquets detail and sparkles! I hope it inspires you to create something of your own! Thank you for stopping by today!!

Lady Bug and butterfly shaker box greeting card by Cherry Nelson

                              I hope Summer is finding you well RB peeps!   Cherry here today to share a Summer shaker cutie with you!  What would Summer be with out a few bugs?  I promise these are the cute kind.  I am so smitten with that lady bug ...and the butterfly?  They both just make me smile.  I ended up creating a card with this shaker but could see it adhered to a box as well for an extra special gift with maybe something tucked inside.  Perfect for a Summer birthday gift.  I filled it with all kinds of goodies from Reneabouquet's store.  That is the fun part.  I wanted it to look like the bugs were crawling on the box and combined with the tuck ins it added the perfect amount of dimension.  Thanks for visiting today!  XOXO, Cherry

Hanging Birth Announcement Trio Frame

Hello Reneabouquets friends and fans! Jenn here today sharing a fun little all hanging thats sure to be adored by any new parent! Using amazing and beautiful products from Reneabouquets!

For this fun little project I have used a trio frame from my local craft store. The squares are each 5 X 5. The paper I used is from Authentique Swaddle Girl. I used a coat of heavy white gesso on the frames and allowed it to dry before beginning.

"Making Merry Memories" Vintage Christmas Album by Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing another funtabulous Christmas project for Reneabouquets! Christmas is truly my favorite holiday and my favorite time to create and hopefully inspire others to do so as well!

This album is made of heavy chipboard and measures 5 1/2" X 7 1/2" with a 1 3/4" spine. The base was wrapped and lined using Kraft cardstock. The paper collection used is by Blue Fern Studios and is titled "Christmas Cheer".
As seen below, it is opened to reveal a pocket and a waterfall for photographs. The spine is decorated with Reneabouquets lace and a charm using trinkets.

I have used Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Winter Snowflakes on my waterfall feature as tabs on each page. I just love the way this turned out! On the inside I added a slant pocket which holds two folded journaling cards and a tag.

Both of the journaling cards are lined with designer papers and can be used for journaling or additional photos.

Below is a collage showing each of the waterfall pages as well as a close up of the snowflake tabs.

For a touch of Christmas sparkle, I added a pearlizing medium to the beautiful Reneabouquets Poinsettias.
