Me Heart You by Amy Voorthuis

  Goodmorning sweet Renea Bouquets Friends,

How lovely of you to visit the Renea Bouquet blog today! I would like to show you another layout I created with some of the new products which I totally love like the lemon tuc ins & bees. Our daughter Abbey really loves flowers and always wants to be surrounded by them. So this time another picture of her in between some beautiful flowers.

Me Heart You:

I layered three different Maja Design sheets from the Coffee in the Arbour collection, which is a great fit for the pretty lemons. As one sheet has some pretty lemons on it. The top sheet I placed a little on the side as I wanted something different then just straight. The I added some sprays & a stencil which fitted the pretty grid element.

I really enjoy creating with all the pretty Renea Bouquets products just because they go so well with the Maja Design papers. Ans also because they are a feast to the eye...I painted the pretty ivy & the grid element green and then used some of my precious waxes. I also added some waxes on the beautiful boards that I kept nutral.

On the the yellow upper sheet I stamp with a stitch stamp around the edges to make it pop a little more then on the end I added some beautiful glass hearts which are one of my favorite items by Renea Bouquets and some art stones, pearl fine glitter glass & butterfly kisses butterflies. AlsoI lightened up the centers of the sweet daisies.

Altered Shutter Frame with Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a fun altered art mixed media project using lots of amazing Reneabouquets products!
I have altered a wooden shutter frame for my project. Be sure to read entire post to see the reveal of my added feature!

For my project I have used the following Reneabouquets products:

To create my project I removed the glass from the frame and the photo panel. Both the panel and shuttered were already white so I coated them with clear gesso and let them dry completely. I then added texture paste in white through a burlap pattern stencil and translucent grit paste through a bee hive patterned stencil. I added a heavy coat of beeswax embossing powder to the bee hive stenciling and heat set. this same method was used to achieve the honey effect on the beehive chipboard element.
The sentiment was coated in clear embossing ink and a shimmery pink embossing powder and heat set.
For the bee elements, I used alcohol markers to color them and added a shimmery honey colored embossing to the wings.

For an added fun feature I added a magnet set to the back of my photo panel and to a piece of chipboard. My photo can now be changed out by sticking any photo to the chipboard and then placing in the frame! So Fun!

Here are a few closer looks.....

Reneabouquets Design Team Page, Sleep And Dream, by Melissa Larson

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the fun treasures there!

@mlarson525 I have a 29 second Instagram video of when I started painting this page.

To make this page I applied clear gesso to 49 and Market paper. I put the layers under the photo together, starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger. Below that is a mat of watercolor paper, and under that is corrugated cardboard. I tore off most the paper from the surface of the cardboard, and painted it with gesso. I put two or three layers of corrugated cardboard between each layer to add dimension.

I put the layers with the photo onto the page. I applied Prima Platinum Crackle Paste with a stencil to the paper with an old credit card.

I picked out Beautiful Board(BBoard),prepped it with gesso, painted it with green and gold Shimmerz on the leaves and stars, and topped them with a thick coat of Clear Rock Candy Crackle. I painted the BB Small Stackable Honey Bee Pattern with Pixie Dust Shimmerz, then a little green Shimmerz and some crackle.I added a few pieces of Sweet Daisy BBoard.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass glitter, glass beads, pearls, Swarovski crystals, rhinestones, sequins, gold leaf, pressed flowers and leaves, tulle, iridescent wrapping paper, flowers from Reneabouquets , metal from Reneabouquets, clay pieces from a Prima Mould,a glass bottle I put some chain inside, and bling and metal from my stash. There are small fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 papers.

I made the background with layers of Shimmerz paints, white ink,Prima waxes, alcohol ink, distress ink, and citrine colored Mica powder. I topped a lot of the page with a gold paste by Shimmerz. I added white gesso to make some negative space, because the page got too busy. I flicked on white ink at the end.

I glued on iridescent wrapping paper on the copper spoon, and glued moonstones on top. I wrapped on some copper wire. I added shimmerz paint, prima waxes, and mica powder. The little orange things are seeds from a flower from a bunch that my husband surprised me with a few weeks ago.

"Sweet as Honey" Frame Trio

Hello everyone! Jenn here today to share this adorable altered frame trio using lots of beautiful ReneaBouquets amazing products! Have you seen these adorable beautiful board bees? They are just gorgeous and so detailed with a layered effect to create dimension and texture for your projects!

ReneaBouquets products used here:

I have also used:
White Gesso
Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive
TH Distress Ink Wild Honey
TH Distress Ink Victorian Velvet
TH Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Seth Apter Baked Texture Powder "Vintage Beeswax"
Water based markers

Here are some individual pictures of each frame in the trio to show you the amazing detail and beauty of the flowers and Beautiful Board used.

To create this adorable trio, I started with a wooden frame trio I purchased at the craft store. Next I coated in white gesso, about three coats. Next, I cut the paper to fit and distressed the edges with a distressing tool.

For the bees, I used markers that are water based in gold and a dark brown. I blotted them with a baby wipe to lighten them a bit. I added gold iridescent embossing powder to the wings and then adhered them to the bodies. The Beautiful Board words "Sweet as Honey" were coated in dabs of Distress Ink Wild Honey and Vintage Photo, coated in iridescent embossing powder, and set.
To create the "honey" I used Seth Apter Vintage Beeswax baked texture powder. Distress inks in Vintage Photo, Victorian Velvet, and Wild Honey were used around paper edges and on some of the beautiful Board elements.
Finally I added the photos and flowers to finish my frames.

Reneabouquets Beeutiful You Mixed Media Card

Hello crafty friends! I have a mixed media card to share with you today. It's made with Reneabouquets items, starting with the Blue Fern Wanderlust Paper Collection.
Blue Fern has the pretties papers!

After cutting and sizing the Blue Fern Wanderlust Papers, I distressed the edges and then inked them with Tim Holtz distress ink.

I have been wanting to work with these Queen Bee with Glass Wings since Renea put them in the store. I am so excited to finally have the chance.

These Queen Bee with Glass Wings have so much detail. I love the added touch of glitter.

Reneabouquets has the perfect embellishments to go with the Queen Bees. The Beautiful Board Medium Honey Bee Chipboard is gorgeous. I colored it with distress inks and distress markers. I also added Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Mini Bee Hive to the card.

The sentiment is a stamp that I have in my stash. It fit the theme of my card perfectly.

I used the Honey Curly Roses Mulberry Paper Flower Set from Reneabouquets for the flower arrangements.

I made the honey from a mixture of Glossy Accents, and yellow and brown acrylic paint. I used a toothpick to put drops all over the card.

Thank you for popping in for a visit. Hope you have a craftastic day!
