ReneaBouquets DT Project--Mini Paper Bag Album with Brandy

Hi crafty friends! Brandy here to share a project I created to finally use my Beautiful Board Garden Party ~ Tea Time Set! It's a little upright paper bag album, so there are photo mats and pockets for lots of pictures, notes, or other ephemera. The papers I used are digital prints I found on Etsy. :)

After giving my tea set a thick coat of white embossing, I used my embossing ink pen to add blue powder to the roses and sprinkled a little lightly over the entire piece. When I held the heat gun over to set it, it melted right into the white. Gives it a cool speckled look. To finish them off, I inked them up a little with distress ink.

I thought I'd try something different to decorate my binding rings and went with a doily. I just wrapped it over the spine and closed my rings over it.

"Love Blooms" A Mini Album by Jenn

Hello Reneabouquets Friends and fans! I am very excited to be a guest Designer here this month! My first project is this Valentine themed mini album using many of the beautiful products available at ReneaBouquets.

This album is very interactive and would make an amazing gift for a loved one.

After watching many YouTube tutorials on creating minis I decided it was time to give it a whirl and I just loved it! I think I am hooked now. For this album I combined several tutorials to create the base, pockets, and elements inside.

The base album measures 6" X 6" and was made with kraft cardstock. All of the edges were inked using Tim Holtz Distress ink in Black Soot.

Below I have a video reveal showing all of the elements inside this fun interactive album!

The front of the album showcases one of Renea's amazing shaker boxes. These are so easy to assemble and make an amazing embellishment for any project! It was just perfect for this album.

Reneabouquets June 2018 Texture Mood Board Challenge With Prize Package - DT Tina Goodwin

Good morning friends! It is time for a new Mood Board Challenge! For June, we are focusing on textures. And of course, there will be a gorgeous prize package, provided by Reneabouquets, given to one lucky random winner.

Adding textures to projects can be so much fun and there are so many different ways to do it!

Here is a Breast Cancer card that I made for inspiration. What kind of textures do you see?

I added texture in the way of distressed paper, glitter glass, and lace.

There is also lots of dimension in this card. I love creating cards with lots of dimension. It does make them a little more tricky to mail, however.

I added color to the Beautiful Board Hot Air Balloon with Distress Inks.

A family member texted me a few days ago and asked me to make a card for another family member that has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Right around that time Renea had released this gorgeous Hot Air Balloon. To me the Hot Air Balloon symbolizes a journey. This family member just being diagnosed with Breast Cancer is beginning a very unexpected journey in her life. I HAD to use the Hot Air Balloon to create the Breast Cancer card.

I am so glad I did. It turned out so beautifully!

Reneabouquets 3D Garden Party Wheelbarrow Gate Card - By DT Tina Goodwin

Hello friends! It's a gorgeous day here in Alaska. The trees are green and the flowers are in bloom. It's amazing to watch the transformation that happens between winter and spring. I have learned to cherish all of the color and the sun.

I was able to create a gorgeous garden themed card with the new Beautiful Board 3D Garden Party Wheelbarrow Gate Do It Yourself Chipboard Kit.

I am completely in love with this wheelbarrow! Renea really out did herself when creating this piece. There are so many tiny details. Its a very elegant piece of art work.

I added color to the wheelbarrow using Tim Holtz distress inks. Renea has a large selection of distress inks if you are looking to purchase some. They are my favorite medium for adding color to the beautiful board pieces. They blend nicely.

I recorded a video showing the process that I use with the distress inks, but the video recorded sideways! Unfortunately, I am not very tech savvy and do not know how or even if you can fix that. Sigh...I am chalking that one up to videoing experience. Being that I am so new to recording videos.

I used some of the mulberry roses from Reneabouquets to create the flower arrangement.

Once I had everything in place, I sprinkled dry embossing powder over the entire project and used my heat tool to set.
