How nice of you to visit the blog today, for today I have another layout to share with you with a picture of our pretty baby girl. At the moment she is batteling the flue with a high fever, snotty nose and wattery eyes poor baby. This was a pretty fun layout to make since these are not really my colours to scrap. 

 Our beautiful happy little ray off Sunshine:

I love to wrinckle my papers so I did that here too as you can see underneath you see some pretty Renea Bouquets lace peaking through. I treated the beautiful boards with some paint & wax but I kept it plane as I really like the color Renea's boards have.

I also added a stencil on the background sheet and I have sprayed some lindy's spray randomly behind my picture and I finished my layout off with some amazing .5 Ounce Buttercream Chunky Glitter Glass.

 Goodmorning everyone, 

I am very pleased you are here on this wonderful blog with me today. We are almost at the end of our summer vacation and this week the weather is not so good sadly. But this Thursday we will go to a fairytail land with Abbey so you will probably see a couple of layouts with pictures of that here on the blog...For today I am sharing another layout with you all. This time I used the "Christmas Season" collection by Maja Design for a non Christmas layout love to do that every ones in a while. I am also very happy that I have a sewing machine again {Oh how I've missed that on my layouts} For this layout I went with the darker red, minty & cream shade of colors!

My Precious Baby Girl:I am in love with the pretty laces "Renea Bouquets" offers they are very delicate & beautiful. I really like to wrinkle my papers so I did that for this layout too I will try to make a short video for you in the near future of how I do that. The background paper I stitched around the edges and I added a Finnabair stencil then I placed my cream sheet on top of that a little out of the middle.

This time I left the beautiful boards just the way they are in the cream tones just like my paper and of course I used a picture of Abbey she is my muze....to finish my layout I added some art stones & some Lindy's spray. 

In the metal pins I added a piece of paper from the same collection and the glass dome was placed on top of that piece of paper with some glossy accents.

Goodmorning Lovely Renea Bouquets Fans,

I hope you are having a wonderful day, about a month ago we had some pretty & peacefulness snow here in The Netherlands and I off course had to take some pictures of our daughter in it. {and just like her mom she doesn't like the snow} But lucky me she let me take a couple of nice ones when she wasn't crying because of the cold. Writting this makes me feel like a bad mom taking her out but when the snow was gone and it was freezing one day she said "snow"in the cutest way ever....

You Sparkle: 

For this layout I used some pretty 13 Arts papers. This time I wanted some purple papers to match my flowers. This layout is more mixed media of me then I am normally make but it was so much fun and I think I am planning to make more of them. I am always afraid to use more colour on my work because I always think it's to much. All the mixed media products I used are by Finnabair. 

The teal flowers are treated with some mica powder to give it the color to match the background. On the background I used a Finnabair stencil called Manuscript I just love all the new stencils....from the  Beautiful Board Large Ornate Flourish Clock Lasercut Chipboard I cut out the middle part because I wanted my picture in there I treated the beautiful board with heavy gesso and later on with the amazing nothern light texture effect paste & some acrylic metallique paint called Vintage Rose. At the end I added some snowflake paste to the chipboard and flowers and also some snowballs .

I kept the swirls very clean for me I only added some heavy gesso & snowflake paste. On the flowers I added some white matte wax & from the opal series the Royal Robes so my layout smells so freaking good I just can't stop smelling it lol. I just love that picture of Abbey she is such a sweet little girl.

I am very excited to be here with you all to share my first layout as a guest designer for Renea Bouquest. For this layout I have used two pictures of our vacation back in 2010 when Kevin was such a cute little boy. We had so much fun then I sure miss our vacations but hopefully covid is on it's return. For this layout I used Maja Design papers and all Renea Bouquets embellishments and oh boy how I love those gorgeous dragonflies!

A Moment to Smile:

On the edges of my background paper I added a lot of distress oxide "vintage photo" after

 I distressed all my edges first. Next thing I did was adding a background stamp and a splatter stencil to give it more of a beachy feeling. Then I used a couple of my lindy's sprays to soften up my background. Now my background is done.

I also used distress oxide "vintage photo" on the beautiful boards. The beautiful boards frames Victorian Scroll Frame & 2 Accents are treated with rust effect past by finnabair and later on I added the Blue Lagoon wax to give it the teal look to match my flowers.

To finish of my layout I also added some art stones and some gorgeous No hole seafoam glass Microbeads by Renea Bouquets. As you see in the last picture the beautiful boards are very thick and nicely cut and you can also leave them untreated as I did with the words moment & smile.

ReneaBouquets Design Team Project - Altered Recipe Box With Brandy

ReneaBouquets Printed Beautiful Board Pieces make such fabulous statements, don't they? 

Hi there! Brandy here to share an altered recipe with you! Another super fun part about this project, is that I use some plain Beautiful Board to add even more unique texture!

After using some texture paste and a stencil to apply a base coat of texture, I glued on my B-Board. I gave it all a coat of teal Acrylic paint and dry brushed it with some gesso to make the texture stand out. I finished the look with some lightly brushed on wax to give it some shine.

I chose some Mulberry Leaves and Roses in Olive and Peachy Pink and a Teal Chiffon flower to adorn the top, as well as some more Beautiful Board Flourish Pattern Leaves and Teal Suncatcher Tiny Treasure Dragonflies. I took apart another Teal Chiffon Flower to use on the front to spread out some of the gorgeous color and accented it with the same Flourish Leaves and Pink Mulberry Roses. 

I Love how it turned out. I think it will make a wonderful place to store some treasured family recipes or just the perfect place to stash some keepsakes.

I just love making these and they are pretty popular right now!

I started out with a plain 6 inch embroidery hoop as my base. Then I chose, traced, cut and glued it to the back of my hoop for a background. I fussy cut a cute scene from my 6x6 inch Paradise By Mintay paper collection and had it ready to place over some embellishing. 

I like to cut my Beautiful Board Elements for interest, and a little Chunky Glitter Glass hides any imperfections! Don't forget to adorn your Beautiful Board pieces with your Beautiful Beads! :)
