Welcome to the "Paradise In August" Collaboration with Reneabouquets & Crafty City. This month Reneabouquets is partnering up with Crafty City to bring you two different Treasure Boxes filled with yummy goodies. I will be working out of Treasure Box #2 for my project.
I wanted to have fun with a circle layout today, so here we go... hope you are inspired !
There are a couple things I really like to do when creating layouts. One is layering and the other is textures... This project has 4 different layers. Starting off with the foundation which is 12x12 chipboard covered with the gorgeous Mintay paper collection "Paradise".
The next layer were several pieces fussy cut and applied to 3D foam pieces. Then the next layer was the 12"x12" doily background (not included in kit) for the main layout which was made dimensional by using pieces of cardboard. The beautiful white shell lace used from the kit was sprayed a peachy color and then rolled in the middle which then provided dimension for the next layer which is Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Chunky Chain Links Frame Set. These simple steps give a new interesting look to your layout.
For the texture I embossed the Sea Shell Seahorse (included in the kit) as well as the Beautiful Board Sea Turtle (not included in this kit). I also added some Sand Chunky Glitter Glass for sparkle.
