Reneabouquets Design team Project "Follow Your Heart" - A Mini Album by Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here to share a lovely mini album I created using lots of gorgeous products from Reneabouquets! 

This album is titled "Follow Your Heart" and includes Reneabouquets Beautiful Board, flowers and other amazing products combined with Blue Fern Studios "Eclectic Charm" papers. It is shabby chic with a bit of Victorian charm! Throughout the album, I have used items that compliment each other both in looks and titles. Timeless,Love, Follow Your Heart, Clocks, and of course lots of hearts!
The album measures 6" X 6" and has a 1/2" spine. On the inside there are many interactive fun flips and pockets as well as a 6 page waterfall for photos.

"Let It Snow" Layout by Toni

Hi everyone, it's time for a wintery layout featuring several 'NEW" products from the Reneabouquets Store. Here we go .....

If you haven't been to the RB store lately you are missing out. There are so many beautiful pieces to use in your holiday projects. I wanted to feature this gorgeous and fun to make Snowglobe Shaker Box. Plump full of pretty RB shaker bits. I just added some snow to the top and sprinkled a bit of the Diamond Glass Glitter. I stamped the word "wish" on the front and tinted it with Lindy's magicals. 

Here is a close up, and isn't the Printed Beautiful Board "Diane's Snowman" adorable. I also just added a bit of the snow to the hat and the base of the snowman. 

The store also has many new mulberry collections, including these pretty Timeless Blue and Navy Blue roses. Accompanied by the Burgundy Poinsettias for a pop of contrasting color. And Frosty Kisses Premium Paper Butterfly matches perfectly !

"Lazy Daze" Mixed Media Layout by Toni

Hi everyone, hope you are having a spectacular month! Today I have a mixed media layout I created using several pretty pieces from Reneabouquets store. Let's get started !

I love dimension in my layouts so for the foundation I took some cardstock and ran it through a Sizzix embossing folder "wood grain" and also inked the embossing folder to give the texture an old wood appeal. Then I cut the cardstock in strips and distressed the edges. To create dimension, every other strip of cardstock I applied cardboard to the back and that raised up those strips on my layout. This provided a "shiplap" look. The photo used really provided my color palette for the layout, so I kept it pretty neutral with pops of red and black shades provided by Reneabouquets pretty mulberry flowers. All supplies are listed below. 

I did use several beautiful board pieces from Reneabouquets and they are gorgeous in their natural state, but I gave each one a little different mixed media touch. The bottom corner is the NEW Wrought Iron Panel.... gorgeous !!!!! I sponged on some green and brown paints and allowed to dry then went over it with Deco Art Crackle Varnish. For the Fancy Fall Tuckins I gave a coat of the crackle varnish and then added a bit of bronze shimmer wax here and there. 

The Clockwork gears I painted with black gesso, then crackle varnish and topped also with bronze shimmer wax. The Feather Set I embossed with bronze EP. Then to finish off the layout I included one of Reneabouquets handmade Delicate Beauty Glitter Glass Butterflies. I hope you will give your layouts a sense of dimension by trying out this simple technique... Wishing you a week plump full of goodness and "lazy daze"... hugs

Embellishment Book Box Swap by Toni

Hi everyone, Toni here today with a fun swap project. This month at Reneabouquets we had an embellishment book box. We were to create a box that looked like a book and fill it with pretty embellishments for our swap partner. Here is what I came up with.

The box on the right is the "Embellishment Book Box" and the other one is just a box I made to fill up with more creative goodies for my partner. 

The front of the book box was decorated with many Reneabouquets items from the store which will be listed below. 

And for your pleasure I have provided a video tutorial below. This book box is very easy to create and another fun way to send off happy mail to your crafty friends. I hope you would consider getting involved in our swaps we have monthly. It is a wonderful way to meet new crafty friends !

To make this page I stenciled texture paste onto watercolor paper, and painted it with Shimmerz Paints.

I painted on gesso, Shimmerz Paints,Prima Alchemy Paint, and Clear Rock Candy Crackle onto the BBoard. I added the flowers, and all the rest of embellishments. The lattice work only has paint on it, and the flourishes have crackle with gold paint on top, then more crackle on that.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,metal glitter,seed beads, pearls, glass beads,Swarovski crystals,rhinestones,pressed flowers and leaves, strands of gauze,small pieces of black tulle,gold lace, and iridescent wrapping paper, pink tulle trim,gold leaf,shells,metal from Reneabouquets,Tim Holtz, flowers from Reneabouquets and Prima, and bling and metal from my stash. I spread Glossy Accents on for the microbeads,glitter and seed beads,and sprinkled them on.

I used white, gold and black Amsterdam ink to outline things, and splashed on the white all over. You can see gold mica powder on almost everything on the page, and I rubbed on a little Green Brocade and White Gold Prima Wax to raised areas.

Hi everyone, this month has been such a fun month of collaborating between Reneabouquets & Crafty City. Two amazing Treasure Boxes filled with so many goodies to create with. I have been working out of Treasure Box #2, and for my last project this month I created a dream catcher. 

Reneabouquets hosted a altered embroidery hoop swap this month and using Treasure Box #2 I was able to create this fun "Paradise" dream catcher for my swap partner.

"Paradise" Layout by Toni

Welcome to the "Paradise In August" Collaboration with Reneabouquets & Crafty City. This month Reneabouquets is partnering up with Crafty City to bring you two different Treasure Boxes filled with yummy goodies. I will be working out of Treasure Box #2 for my project. 

I wanted to have fun with a circle layout today, so here we go... hope you are inspired !

There are a couple things I really like to do when creating layouts. One is layering and the other is textures... This project has 4 different layers. Starting off with the foundation which is 12x12 chipboard covered with the gorgeous Mintay paper collection "Paradise". 

The next layer were several pieces fussy cut and applied to 3D foam pieces. Then the next layer was the 12"x12" doily background (not included in kit) for the main layout which was made dimensional by using pieces of cardboard. The beautiful white shell lace used from the kit was sprayed a peachy color and then rolled in the middle which then provided dimension for the next layer which is Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Chunky Chain Links Frame Set. These simple steps give a new interesting look to your layout. 

For the texture I embossed the Sea Shell Seahorse (included in the kit) as well as the Beautiful Board Sea Turtle (not included in this kit). I also added some Sand Chunky Glitter Glass for sparkle.
