Hi everyone, hope you all are staying safe and healthy. Today I have for you a layout filled with mixed media layers and textures.
I first started by adding some machine stitching around the perimeter of the layout then I wanted to add some texture to the base of the layout utilizing some textured crackle paste through different stencils. I chose the Beautiful Board pieces I wanted to use and gave them all a coat of Rock Candy Crackle Paint.
To compliment the layout I added some sparkle utilizing Reneabouquets Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. I hope you enjoyed this layout and now for your pleasure I have added a video of me creating this layout below. Hope you enjoy ..... blessings.

Happy Thursday everyone. I'm up on the blog today with a new mixed media layout featuring several fall items from Reneabouquets store.
As many of you know, I love to create my layouts with lots of layers. This gives me the ability to tuck in flowers, beautiful board, ephemera etc. I started by creating the background dimensional adding my papers on cardboard to give it height. I started by adding some Ivory Wide Floral Embroidered Lace which always provides a sweet vintage feel. Then I prepped my different beautiful board pieces. Some I painted white which would be Beautiful Board Ornate Leaves Tuck Ins , I then embossed with brass embossing powder the Beautiful Board Fancy Fall Tuck Ins , and some I distressed with Oxide Distress Inks which would be Beautiful Board Large Fancy Fall Corners
Hi everyone, Toni here with a new project using our fun Beautiful Board 4D Purse Do It Yourself Laser Cut Chipboard Kit. This kit is so easy to create and so much fun. I'm a huge fan of steampunk and I wanted it to hold all my steampunk tags I create to put on cards.
Hello to our Reneabouquet family and friends. Every month RB hosts a swap that you can participate in and it's a great way to make new creative friends and share your love for paper crafts with another. This month's swap was to create an altered paint brush, here is my take on it.
I purchased a brush from Dollar Store 3" wide which provided a nice amount of space to create on. Below I have a video tutorial so you can watch the different mixed media techniques that I used to get this effect... very easy to do.
The main focal point on the brush was the sweet RB shadow box. They are so much fun to work with and so versatile. I decided to add some fairy lights just for effect. If you haven't worked with these shadow boxes you need to get your hands on them especially with the holidays approaching. They are so much fun to create with.
As always, RB never disappoints when it comes to their beautiful flowers and Beautiful Board. I will leave a list of all supplies used from the store below with their links for easy access. Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing a fun altered frame today! I have used lots of beautiful Reneabouquets Beautiful Board and Flowers.
This month we're celebrating here at Reneabouquets because our Beautiful Board turns "2 years old". If you have never seen or used beautiful board then you are really missing out. The Double Side Coating provides versatility, because either side can be used, leaving you, the artist, with the choice of creating either right side facing or left side facing art embellishments. The coating provides a Beautiful, Vintage White finish, which means that it can be used as-is right out of the packaging. No gesso or art degree required !! The coating also allows more advanced artists to paint, mist, ink, marker color, emboss, ink rub and more to get a gorgeous, true color that you just can not get from raw chipboard products.

Hi everyone, this month has been such a fun month of collaborating between Reneabouquets & Crafty City. Two amazing Treasure Boxes filled with so many goodies to create with. I have been working out of Treasure Box #2, and for my last project this month I created a dream catcher.
Reneabouquets hosted a altered embroidery hoop swap this month and using Treasure Box #2 I was able to create this fun "Paradise" dream catcher for my swap partner.
Below I have also prepared a video tutorial so you can watch my creative process.

Welcome to the "Paradise In August" Collaboration with Reneabouquets & Crafty City. This month Reneabouquets is partnering up with Crafty City to bring you two different Treasure Boxes filled with yummy goodies. I will be working out of Treasure Box #2 for my project.
I wanted to have fun with a circle layout today, so here we go... hope you are inspired !
There are a couple things I really like to do when creating layouts. One is layering and the other is textures... This project has 4 different layers. Starting off with the foundation which is 12x12 chipboard covered with the gorgeous Mintay paper collection "Paradise".
The next layer were several pieces fussy cut and applied to 3D foam pieces. Then the next layer was the 12"x12" doily background (not included in kit) for the main layout which was made dimensional by using pieces of cardboard. The beautiful white shell lace used from the kit was sprayed a peachy color and then rolled in the middle which then provided dimension for the next layer which is Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Chunky Chain Links Frame Set. These simple steps give a new interesting look to your layout.
For the texture I embossed the Sea Shell Seahorse (included in the kit) as well as the Beautiful Board Sea Turtle (not included in this kit). I also added some Sand Chunky Glitter Glass for sparkle.

My daughter will be soon taking a fantastic vacation to Croatia where she's going to spend lots of time on the beach, so I thought this is the perfect time to use my Treasure Box filled with goodies to create an explosion box to hold her photos.
The box closes up with a lid and then when you remove the lid it drops down into a fun interactive photo album.
I had so much fun fussy cutting the Mintay "Paradise" paper collection. The colors are so soft and gentle but really allows for pretty seaside themed projects. Reneabouquets store has so many fabulous items that fit right in with the beach theme as well.

The sweet tiny butterflies used here are the Butterfly Kisses Delicate Beauty Single Side Printed Butterflies. 
The florals I used from RB store are the Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Timeless Blue, Mini Dusty Blue & Ivory Mulberry Paper Roses, and the Antique Linen Roses. Tucked inside the florals are the Beautiful Board Bits Skeleton Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard and Beautiful Board Bits Rose Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard. And what would my layout be without adding a bit of sparkle to the layout with Gawdie Girl Diamond Fine German Glitter, which looks just like sugar on this layout.
